Emma's shirt! First Thursday compliments were given.

Also: been meaning to post this, but that Spring trench I had been sporting (before Portland degrees reached melting heights) has received mad compliments every time it takes a stroll. Really. Like every ten minutes a compliment is given. Emma's clothes. People love 'em.

Jess' debut

To honor Jess' first time in the booth, we decided to keep her in there for every frame.  That translates to about six solid minutes of booth time.  She's undoubtedly changed from it.   

Question: Where is Emma?

Answer: She's under the hat.  

Surprise!

Our weeks were all made when Virginia was able to make a last-minute visit to her old stompin' grounds.  

Of course the first thing we thought of was "Emma's closet!"  With Erin out of town until Virginia's last day, we didn't have much access.  But we decided to take this super signature Emma hat on a field trip of dreams.    

Even Morris got in on the action.  All of this happened with fond thoughts of Emma; we wish you were here!

a word about hearing no word

we still haven't heard from emma about the ole blog, which we're beginning to take as a bad sign.  so in the case that she is not finding our venture humorous, we offer this consolation:

we have and will continue to refrain from wearing anything in a dry-cleaning bag or that we know to be special.  i feel better now.  hopefully emma does too.

this silken leopard top added the perfect punch to jess' red and white ensemble.

none of emma's clothes in this one.  just two lovely ladies lettin' their funny out.  a medium-sized rat proceeded to run across the floor in front of us.  even rats love ice cream!

a hot night (on the town)

Erin and I hit the town running last night with these two previously unknown Emmas.  

don't let my expression fool you; I'm having the time of my life. 

the night ended with Jeremy and Shoshanna and us drinking beers on a dock by the Hawthorne Bridge.  Incredible way to end an evening.  

couldn't have been so fab without these great outfits!  Thanks, Emma!

summer coat

this little number has a button sewn into the pocket!  we can always count on emma to adorn her pieces with such charms.  this summer trench is perfect for those windy Portland nights (tonight's scalder being the exception) when your daytime mini-dress just won't cut the mustard.  

an introduction

Today (or maybe it is the day after or the day before) our friend, Emma, leaves for two months for Estonia.  Don't ask us why (that is not what this blog is about.  if you would like more information on that subject you can find it here).  

She left her closet behind.   

This blog will chronicle the wanderings and whereabouts of said closet.  Or, more precisely, the clothes therein.
